One Love
A nonprofit organization

One Love obtained a generous donation of  medical equipment including pediatric manual wheel chairs, walkers, and crutches which were part of our 2007 shipment . In 2006 and 2008,  we purchased bed nets which are an important and proven tool in preventing malaria. Now on to our next project....

Father Sandy has a farm, ee-i-ee-i-oh!!.........We are working with the Lansford  Roman Catholic Parishes Outreach Group based in Lansford, PA to purchase geese and goats to be raised on the land that surrounds the orphanage.  The cost is generally $20  for a flock of 6 chickens/geese and $50 for each goat. The geese are important not only as a source of eggs and meat—they eat the malaria-transmitting mosquitoes. The goats provide milk and eat the brush which is a haven for the venomous cape cobra. Thank you to Lansford Outreach for supporting Fr. James Sandy in developing this wonderful project to benefit the children! Many donations were given in lieu of exchanging Christmas presents...truly the gift is in the giving which so many of you have done. Simply....thank you......
